How are Move For Health’s services funded?
Exercise physiology services are typically funded via Medicare, DVA, government support packages (e.g. home care packages & NDIS) and private funding.
Home Care Packages
Move For Health’s services are primarily funded through home care packages. We provide exercise physiology services for many home care organisations in Adelaide and surrounding areas. If you have a home care package or are a case manager interested in utilising our services please get in touch!
Short Term Restorative Care Programs
Move For Health also works with clients extensively through 8 week Short Term Restorative Care Programs. If you are a potential participant or case manager interested in utilising our services please get in touch!
NDIS
Participants under the NDIS are able to access fully funded home based exercise physiology services with Move For Health.
Group Allied Health Service for patients with Type 2 Diabetes
Entitles people living with type 2 diabetes to 1 initial exercise physiology physical assessment and 8 follow up group exercise sessions conducted by an accredited exercise physiologist.

Individual Allied Health Service for individuals with a chronic medical condition and complex care needs
Entitles participants to 5 allied health consultations per annum.

DVA
via GP referral (D904)
People with a DVA white or gold card are entitled to fully funded exercise physiology treatment through DVA.
Private health funding
Those who do not have access to the above funding avenues may elect to pay privately for Move For Health’s exercise physiology services (rebates claimable via private health fund).
